Sonia and LTTE
Commenting on why Sonia Gandhi gave up her Italian citizenship S.Gurumurthy wrote, "…the real reason was the prospect of her husband ascending to power, which means herself in power!" This ad hominum squabble is now too stale to be surprising. May be he should go on to 'uncover' Sonia's connections with the LTTE as well. Investigating how Nalini was spared the hangman's noose will be a good start—for an idle mind.

I am wondering if you were the same person who wrote debunking the homeopathy myth in malayala manorama. If so Kudos I loved it and send it to my father in law to show it to my brother in law who has kidney stone and has started putting his faith in Homeopathy
Letter writers syndicate.
Seemingly just like the media syndicate in Kerala a letter-writers syndicate works with the new Indian Express. The members of this syndicate are the erstwhile “Chivas Regal” writers who had once derided Ms Renjini Haridas for her choosy work with various channels. The leader of this syndicate is one Titus Sankaramanagalam. His followers are one Sunny Joseph and another Paul. One writes a ridiculous piece and it is appreciated by another saying it as a work akin to that of G B Shaw, VKN, or Sanjayan. On return the former endorses the latter, a sort of mutual back scratch.
Of late on Nov 15 a ridiculous letter was written by Titus about Dr. Kalam’s dress and it was appreciated by Sunny saying that his gloomy mood in the morning ‘resulted out of previous day intake’ was disappeared because of the humour content of the letter. In fact the so-called humour in the letter was hurtful and disgusting. It was a skimpy attempt to belittle a great man who had brought accolade to the nation by his unstinting effort. My friends who read this letter shared my opinion. Kalam’s dress is not of second-rate as the author thinks and even if it so it should never be taken as a matter of mockery.
The writers who ridiculed Dr APJ Abdul Kalam owe an apology through these columns.

Hurting humour.
This has reference to the letter published in The New India Express Daily Nov 15 .
Humour may sometimes turn out to hurtful and nauseating. That is what one see with the letter cited under reference. Kalam’s dress is not of second-rate as the author thinks. The author should introspect and see whether he would not be frisked by the US Security officials at JFK Airport because of his premium dress.
The comment resembles the one said by former CM of Kerala about Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.
